WhereTo provides an AI-powered travel platform for corporate travel. Their platform uses machine learning algorithms to recommend personalized travel options based on a traveler's preferences, company policies, and budget. About Your Opportunity

• With a strong emphasis on mobile-specific skills, you'll be responsible for the user interface, its architecture, interaction, and visual design of our iOS and Android applications.
• Champion mobile design, focusing on iOS and Android applications, while considering platform differences, device sizes, and other unique aspects of each operating system.
• Push yourself to explore big ideas and refine them into feasible, inventive solutions with meticulous attention to detail for both iOS and Android platforms while taking into account how they relate to our web products.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, user research, and tech writers to define multiple features that impact the entire product, helping to shape product direction under the guidance of more senior designers.
• Take ownership of design execution, continuously measuring and improving upon your work for both iOS and Android applications.
• Participate in and help facilitate cross-functional design thinking workshops, concentrating on optimizing mobile experiences for all users and customers.
• Create deliverables for every stage of the design process, such as storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect UI assets to be handed off and added to our Figma libraries.
• Contribute to and utilize WhereTo's design system, ensuring scalable and consistent design across our entire product ecosystem, with a focus on the unique requirements of iOS and Android experiences.
• Employ data-driven insights, including analytics and user research, to inform your work, while relying on your intuition to address any gaps.
• Foster a creative, supportive culture within the Product Design & UX team, with an emphasis on iOS and Android design expertise and collaboration.
  
  
  

Experience & Qualifications

• You're a skilled, passionate, and efficient designer with a solid grasp of mobile design patterns and interaction principles specific to iOS and Android.
• Your strong analytical skills and inventive storytelling abilities enable you to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues and unite cross-functional teams around a shared vision.
• Embracing feedback from a diverse range of stakeholders, you expertly research ideas and rely on your intuition to make well-informed decisions, even when definitive facts are scarce.
• Your expertise in balancing business needs with simple, engaging, and user-centered solutions tailored for iOS and Android makes you a valuable asset in the mobile design space.
• You're adept at working in Agile or Scrum product development environments, fostering cross-functional and highly collaborative dynamics within your team.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of designing consumer, enterprise and mobile user experiences for a web service.
• Minimum of 4 years with specialization in interaction design, visual design and design thinking, with experience in prototyping and user research.
• Minimum of 4 years with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Moqups etc.
