Position Summary

In this role you will lead and manager the development and execution of community engagement strategies and programs that foster meaningful connections, drive brand loyalty, and create advocacy among our partners, customers, athletes, and advocates. You will be the driving force behind thes brand's presence in the real world.

This role requires a dynamic and creative leader with a passion for building relationships and community, as well as a proven track record of success in brand, experiential marketing and community management.

This role supports Momentous’ mission of democratizing high performance by fostering a strong sense of community and connection among our customers, partners, and employees. This role reports to the VP of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the partnerships team, nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, influencers, and teams, and help build partner activations in order t to build a strong and engaged community around the Momentous brand
  • Conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of brand experiences, including events, pop-ups, sponsorships, and activations, from ideation to post-event evaluation
  • Develop and execute an experiential marketing strategy that aligns with brand objectives and drives brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, internal teams, PR and creative to ensure a seamless and consistent brand experience across all touchpoints
  • Work closely with retention team to build membership /loyalty program, as well, as social and influencer teams to ensure consistent brand experience
  • Manage all aspects of community and event production, including budgeting, vendor management, logistics, staffing, and on-site execution, to deliver exceptional experiences that exceed expectations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to support

community engagement efforts

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in experiential marketing and community management, and incorporate innovative approaches into our strategies and tactics
  • Work closely with VP Marketing and Head of Content to manage with PR firm

Qualifications

  • 9+ years of experience in community management, partnerships, events, or related field, preferably in the sports entertainment, CPG, or lifestyle industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven track record of success in building and nurturing communities that drive brand loyalty and advocacy
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating engaging content
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Passion for health, fitness, and human performance is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias towards action

LOCATION

This position is a hybrid role in-person out of our Santa Monica, CA office, and requires travel quarterly.
