Job Description:
Lusso Cloud needs a competent and accomplished Sales Director who can spearhead our sales operations in the United States. The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of achieving sales objectives, effectively leading sales teams, and devising winning strategies that enhance our market position and profitability. As Sales Director, you will be responsible for promoting revenue growth and ensuring the success of our sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Execute the overall sales strategy for Lusso Cloud, aligning with the brand's objectives and market trends.
- Identify new business opportunities to maximize revenue and market share.
- Achieve financial targets and monitor business for areas of improvement.
- Present sales, revenue, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
2. Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead effective presentations and assortment recommendations to clients.
4. Sales Operations and Execution:
- Oversee the entire sales process, from sell-in to order fulfillment, ensuring seamless operations and efficient delivery of products.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and make informed decisions.
- Organize and submit buys to the management team.
5. Market Analysis and Competitor Insights:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities.
- Utilize market research and data analysis to identify potential areas for growth and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with customer service, marketing, product development, and finance teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving overall business objectives.
- Provide input and insights to product development teams based on market demand and customer feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years relative experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Proven ability to drive sales process from plan to close.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and visit key markets.
- This is a hybrid position. Must be willing to work at our Newport Beach, CA HQ between 2-3 days per week.
